New Facility: It’s Official!
Growers Mineral, Corp. (GMC) is pleased to announce that we will be constructing a new factory and office building. Going into our 70th year of business, this is an important and exciting step, as it will give us the opportunity to help more farmers and other customers far into the future. The new modern and efficient facility will continue to produce the same high-quality, 70 year-old proven formula: Growers Mineral Solution (GMS). The facility will be conveniently located on Ohio State Route 250 next to Interstate 80/90, about 2.5 miles north of our existing factory.
GMC does not currently have an accurate opening date, but we estimate that the new facility will open in Spring. 2025/ We want to reassure you that we will put measures in place to ensure there will be no disruption to the production and distribution of GMS.
This new facility will be partially funded with the USDA Fertilizer Production Expansion Program grant, and will not negatively impact the price of GMS. The facility construction will use local contractors and the infrastructure will be governed by the requirements of Section 70914 of the Build America, Buy America Act.
GMS is a 10-20-10 non-toxic, environmentally-friendly, high quality liquid fertilizer that can be used for crops, landscapes, and as a nutritional supplement for livestock. GMS is safe, easy to handle, and simple to apply. GMS is one of the few products on the market today that can help farmers comply with CAFO, Nutrient Management and other environmental regulations. GMS serves 27 US states and two Canadian provinces: Ontario and Quebec.
